Provisional Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I am a mental health counselor who is passionate about helping people navigate life transitions, stress, trauma, and the challenges that can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what comes next.

My approach to counseling is warm, down-to-earth, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are. There is room for difficult conversations, growth, and even humor. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each person to find strategies that fit their needs, personality, and goals. As a U.S. Army veteran, I have a special interest in working with veterans, service members, and military families. I understand that military life comes with its own culture, experiences, transitions, and challenges, and I value being able to provide a space where clients do not have to explain that world before we can begin the work.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing.

Depending on what you need, our work may focus on developing coping skills, managing emotions, improving relationships, working through difficult experiences, or simply figuring out what comes next.

Outside of counseling, I am a wife and mom who enjoys spending time with my family, exploring Hawaiʻi, diving, reading, and being outdoors.
