Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) practicing in Hawai‘i, with over two decades of experience in Child Welfare and Family Services. My work focuses on supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.
My approach is integrative and assessment-informed, blending family systems, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. I believe therapy works best when it combines meaningful insight with practical tools for growth. At Sakura Center, I value the collaborative process of using assessment to guide treatment and help clients move toward balance, connection, and lasting change.
In sessions, I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental atmosphere. I strive to meet each person where they are—listening deeply and responding with empathy, honesty, and gentle challenge. Together, we clarify goals, strengthen relationships, and create lasting tools for emotional balance and well-being.
