I am a Licensed Psychologist practicing in Kapolei, Hawaii. Raised on the Leeward Coast of O’ahu, it has always been my goal to work in the community that I love. After attending college on the mainland, I continued my studies at Argosy University Hawaii. I graduated in 2014 with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. With over 10 years of clinical experience in providing therapy and assessment I am committed to serving the individuals and families of Hawaii.
My specialty is psychological/neuropsychological testing for ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and behavioral and emotional concerns. Testing is a valuable tool that helps to identify areas for further development and areas of strength. Identifying both strengths and weaknesses allows for recommendations that are specific to addressing challenges, while also building on an individual’s strengths.
While my primary focus is conducting psychological/neuropsychological assessments, I also enjoy therapy. This is one of my favorite things about being a psychologist, the fact that I get to do a variety of things. Therapy allows me to be creative, inventive, and present with my clients. I work with children, teens, adults, and families who experience difficulty in managing challenges associated with a variety of mental health issues. My belief is that no matter what the presenting concern, my first goal is to establish a strong therapeutic relationship with my client. I do this by providing an environment that is warm, safe, compassionate, supportive, and collaborative.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Early mornings when I get to enjoy a cup of coffee before the hustle and bustle of the day begins are my favorite. Lastly, I love a good book and the occasional binging of my favorite TV shows!
