Individual and Family Therapy
Seeking out support and guidance is natural, especially when things are not going how you planned or when you’re feeling stuck. You or your child may experience anxiety, sadness, or maybe you’re just unsure of your direction in life. You may be struggling with managing your child’s behaviors or just can’t figure out how to best help them thrive. These and many more are the reasons why an individual or family may seek therapy.
Therapy, whether individual or family, involves exploring feelings, thoughts, relationship dynamics, and behaviors. We view this exploration as a collaborative process in which you bring your knowledge of yourself and we bring our knowledge of different ways to address your concerns. It is our goal to create an inviting environment that is safe, supportive, and compassionate. Together we will work to develop self-awareness, positive coping skills, and improve overall daily functioning.
Though we have generalized training, our practice is focused on working with children, teens, young adults, and families. Many of the presenting concerns we have worked with include:
- Generalized anxiety and worry
- ADHD and related issues
- Behavior management
- Parenting concerns
- Adjustment to life changes
- Adjustment to learning challenges
- Mood disorders/depression
- Social skills development
- Autism Spectrum Disorder symptoms
